1. Triple the Coverage (Now 3 Channels!)
The original XC gave you a great view of the road, but the XC2 takes wrap-around security to a whole new level. We’ve expanded our video channels from 2 to 3 channels of protection:
- Front coverage (built-in) - your front camera captures everything that happens on the road in front of you.
- Rear coverage - perfect for capturing an additional angle of any incident or dispute.
- Interior cabin protection - monitor driver or passenger behavior.
Note: Additional cameras are sold separately, but having that full-circle peace of mind is a total game-changer.
2. Automatic Cloud Uploads for Driving Events
Whether you are cruising down the highway or parked at the grocery store, Drone XC2 has your back. If your vehicle experiences an impact—on or off the road—the camera will automatically back up the video to the cloud.
You don’t have to worry about pulling micro SD cards or manual downloads; you can instantly and conveniently access the footage from anywhere using the DroneMobile app.
3. Lightning-Fast "Video Previews"
Waiting for a massive high-definition video file to download over cellular networks when you just want to see what happened can be frustrating. To solve this, the Drone XC2 introduces fast video previews. Whenever an impact or security event is recorded, the XC2 uploads a highly compressed preview file that is 95% smaller than a full-resolution video. Once you've found the video you're looking for, you can download the full resolution version of the video either over 4G LTE or the XC2's local wi-fi network.

- See it instantly: Review what triggered an alert in just seconds.
- 20x more cloud videos: Smaller file sizes mean you can store twenty times more dash cam videos in the cloud.
- Find clips in a flash: The DroneMobile app now displays these previews as animated GIFs, making it incredibly easy to scroll through your history and spot the exact clip you need.
Just like the first-generation camera, the Drone XC2 has a built-in LTE module. If you are an existing customer currently using an X1 or X2 hardware module, the XC2 will entirely replace that device. It’s a perfect, streamlined upgrade to get both premium LTE tracking/control and top-tier dash cam security in a single, sleek package.
